Essential English number words

Start with one, two and three, then continue to ten. Hundred and thousand let you read larger quantities and talk about prices, addresses, people and objects.

Listen closely to three and thousand, which contain the /θ/ sound. After an exact number, hundred and thousand stay singular: say two hundred and five thousand.
